📅 Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Exploration (L or D)

Welcome to Hanoi! Upon arrival, your guide and driver will take you to the hotel in the Old Quarter.

Then if the time permits we will have chance to see the highlights of the city:

Let’s start our city tour from Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi then continue to Ba Dinh Square – where all biggest cultural, political events of the cities for taking photos of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Later we will pay a quick visit to see Saint Joseph Cathedral which was built in 1884 by the French colonial government in the late 19th century, specifically during the time when Vietnam was part of French Indochina.

🏞️ Day 2: Hanoi – Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu & Trang An) – Hanoi (B, L)

Embark on a day trip to Ninh Binh, often called “Halong Bay on land”.

8.30: We pick you up at your hotel, departure for Ninh Binh tour, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of the rural areas on the way

11.00: Arrive in Ninh Binh province, the guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu – the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam with Dinh king temple and Le king temple.
12.00: Have lunch at the local restaurant near Trang An.

13.30: Depart to visit Trang An tourist attraction, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers – a Ha Long on the land of Ninh Binh
16.00: Getting on the car for returning to Hanoi.

18.30: Arrive hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter

🚢 Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (Overnight) (B/L/D)

Travel to Halong Bay, a must in any Vietnam 5 days tour.

7.45-8.15:  Pick-up at the hotel.

10.00:  Having short break at stop over in Hai Duong Province.

12.00 – 12.30: Embark on Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing and enjoy welcome-drink. Check in the cabin.

13.15:  Enjoy lunch with sampling regional fresh seafood while cruising on exquisite water, passing Incense Burner island, Fighting Cock islet, Stone Dog… Ha Long Cruise will bring you to explore Ha Long Bay on the most wonderful route where just a few cruises go through.

15.00-16.30:

• Do kayaking through the magnificent landscape with Limestone Mountains, visit Titop Island and swimming or just relaxing on the sun-deck for fantastic views at The Bay

• Back to Lavender Cruises and join sunset party
• Pass by Soi Sim Beach, “Rang Dua” Island to sleeping area near The Surprising cave.
• Join our Cooking Class in the restaurant. Let’s see how to make the fresh/fried spring rolls and mix fish-sauce.

19:30: Under the magnificent night sky, our set-menu dinner is served with a variety of Vietnamese and Asian foods.

Evening activities:

• Join squid fishing on boat with our crews. You can enjoy the squid cooked with assistance from our chef, Playing card, karaoke….

🌅 Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

06:15: Morning exercises on the Sun-deck.

07:15: Have breakfast with Coffee, tea and Bakeries on board.

08:00: Visit the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot) discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists since 1936, now it is a must-to-see and a symbol for geology value of Halong.
09:30: Check out time. Then relax on the sun-deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery.
10h15: Enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising back to the pier.
12:00: Check out cruise. Our car will be at your disposal to pick you up then drive back to Hanoi.
